Miscellaneous / Re: Robin Gibb Died

Bee Gees and Donna Summer provided the soundtrack to an era, if not many of our childhoods.
It's hard to imagine 1977-82 without thinking of the (pop) music of either Donna or Bee Gees...
NYC radio was always rock stations, pop stations, and r&b/soul/disco.
I'd venture to guess that we heard a lot more Donna Summer or Bee Gees cranking out of car windows in the those summertimes seasons than 3 and a half minute classic rock tunes...(which was all my favorite stuff, don't get me wrong..)

is Led Zep L or Z??

For example, I'd put them in the Z section if I owned a music store, because people come in and ask for "Zeppelin".
Then again, Is pink Floyd P or F? (I call them "floyd")

Fine. Ya got me.

KISS-  Kiss ALIVE, Destroyer, Rock and Roll Over, Dressed to Kill.
They did great stuff with producer Bob Ezrin, who really "got" them, the same way Ted Templeman "got" VH...

Saw KISS on .. Dynasty tour, at the Garden, what year was that..? 79?

F
Fishbone- Greatest Live shows ever- watch them on YouTube. A bunch of Afr-American kids who grew up with P-Funk & Earth Wind and Fire who head Led Zeppelin and Rush when they were bussed to white neighborhoods.

or
Foo Fighters- if you would have said that the drummer for Nirvana would lead the next great American Rock Band, people would have thought you were crazy...

D Generation-NYC glam rockers new punk wanna be's... catchy stuff though

I sang on stage last week for the first time since my Bar Mitzvah.
It was the Worldwide Pants Festival, 12 nights of theatre written by students at Writopia Labs.
My show was written by 6 ten year olds.
Yes, I played the Heel character, no kidding...

Jeez, no fair Robert, I've seen Aerosmith 21 times and been backstage 3 times.
:(
Ya beat me to my fave band.
Ok, let's do B... how obvious is this?

Beatles: Most important, arguably greatest, rock and roll band ever. (Note I said "rock and roll", not simply "rock".)

very excited for this show.
The storylines are building and Jordan keeps the wrestlers on their toes by bringing in talent that is new to FWE.
Hey Robert, it's Charlie from the Facebook page, I joined the board (obviously).
Looking forward to Josh and I continuing to be a part of this community..
Thanks
